Summer Blast Community Day
What is it?
​
The Summer Blast Community Day (SBCD) is an annual gathering organized by our "A Hand Up" Outreach Ministry. This event aims to bring joy and support to the children, youth, and families in our community, inspired by Romans 15:1:
"We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves."
​
When is it?
The event takes place each year on the first Saturday of August. Our upcoming event is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
​
Where is it?
The event will be held at Ernest Freeman Park, Stedman, NC 28391, directly across the street from our ministry site.
Every year, local businesses, organizations, and individuals partner with us as sponsors to support Emmanuel Empowerment Ministry in hosting a fun-filled day packed with games, music, and activities for the entire family!
This event offers free school supplies (such as paper, pencils, and pens) to families with "at-risk youth."
